I’m Josh! I am an undergraduate engineering physics student at the University of British Columbia, interested in deep learning, embedded systems, and quantum computing.
Previously, I worked as an Associate ML Developer at AltaML and as an ATLAS Deep Learning Research Student at TRIUMF, developing panoptic segmentation models for particle reconstruction.
I lead the Command and Data Handling team for the UBC Orbit Satellite Design Team, building ALEASAT as part of ESA’s Fly Your Satellite! program. I also chair the UBC IEEE Aerospace Student Branch.
